The I.R.S will begin accepting tax returns January 23rd, 2017. These IRS begin accepting some tax returns for test purposes starting January 13th, 2016.

There hasn’t been an official IRS Refund Schedule since 2011 Tax Season. We started in 2012 creating a similar IRS Refund Schedule for our viewers. Same here…filed on the 15th, accepted the 16th, and dead silence except the generic "processing" across the board. Oh, and the little orange tracker bar everyone is talking about? I don't have one, period. Never have. Sigh…and we wait…
checked this morning still one block that says accepted, in my experience refunds are issued on Fridays or thursday nights. so I guess I wait again. I was accepted on 20th .

I filed the 29th of January and still haven’t received any new information. I’m patiently waiting, but honestly tired of waiting. It’s sad people filed after I did and have received theirs or a DD date and I have nothing!
My return was accepted jan 23. I have no dd or error code on irs website

Me too I had to verify me identity online idverify.gov and I called the rep said I did mine on line I don’t have too wait 9 weeks but 6 weeks count from the day I did it online which is March 26
they told me as of Feb.12,2016 my file was completed and then they put me in the cure to be process for payment.they said it will take 9weeks before I get my refund.

because they had to male sure that I’m the person they say I was and all my information was correct.But I guess its all good just check still nothing they keep telling me just give it 9 weeks nothing sooner that’s what they keep telling me you don’t have to keep calling its still the same answer so I said thank you
I filed on 01/21/16 wmr says that my return is still being processed…called the IRS today gave me a phone number (800)830-5084 that I need to call regarding my refund…tried calling the number for 2 hours but due to the heavy call volume I had no luck…I will try calling again tomorrow not to mention the first rep stated I will need to have my 2014 return on hand because I need to verify info from that return in order for my 2015 to be processed…
So freaking frustrated I guess that’s why they say never put all of your eggs in one basket…

Thank you I finally spoke with someone and now they want me to go into my local tax office, with two forms of ID, my birth certificate, 2014 and 2015 tax returns and a photo ID from my current employer…wth

I went down to the IRS today to verify my identity and they told me it could take an additional 9 weeks before I receive my money…that is a bunch of bullcrap and the IRS has made a huge mess this tax season…I waited in line for 8 long hours with my husband and one of my babies just for this!!!!
